Walk around the Conciergerie, famous for its role as a revolutionary tribunal and prison during the French Revolution. Reaching the tip of the island, cross the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris, to see the Louvre Museum, the former fortress of Paris, transformed into a royal palace, and finally into one of the world's largest and most iconic museums.
