On this tour, we'll explore one of Paris's oldest and most cosmopolitan neighborhoods in Europe: Le Marais, home to the continent's largest Jewish community and the heart of the French capital's LGBTQ+ district. Its imposing mansions and historic streets, so vibrant today, witnessed one of the most tragic chapters in human history. We'll pay particular attention to how World War II and the Holocaust were experienced in Paris, as well as the enduring importance of the French Resistance. We'll delve into pivotal historical moments in an immersive environment that will take us through the liberation of Paris, the Battle of France, and the lives of important figures such as Adolf Hitler and Charles de Gaulle.
